Nope . You pay $364 only to order it . They will pay you $25 per month for 12 months if you stay with ST at $65 month plan . So you will be paying $40 for that plan . This deal is same as straight talk website .

That doesn't make sense. Why did they NOT charge sales tax on $299 phone price on the Pre-Order?
They messed up and now they have to eat the cost of the sales tax

Where did you port to? I was thinking of using these numbers for the total wireless deals on the 15 and 15 plus but it was OOS in hours.
straighttalk numbers are not eligible for port in promos at totalwireless. because they share the same parent company tracfone wireless and above them verizon. Had ported both numbers over to metro for a few of their promos

Doesn't look like you can walk away with an unlocked device after 60 days, you got to stay in platinum unlimited active plan for 12 months.
LOL. You must be new here.

Decided to order this for my mom since she doesn't care about the downgrade in features from her current iPhone 12 Pro to this one.

I was waiting patiently waiting for this phone to come out about 6 months . Total wireless and straight talk had this online last week with a pre order of about a month out by the time I caught the deals . I waited till Monday for instore total to have in stock . I ultimately decided to get the 13 in store. 13 has a better camera and was almost 150$ cheaper with 3 months service over 16e 1month. I was never planning on keeping the plan a year I just honestly needed a new phone and really liked the the se models. Phone unlocks in 60 days and I can put in my mint sim at that time for now I just call forward text and calls to my total number.
You were downvoted but you are right. Especially for the Metro deal there isn't really competition with a 16e. Action button only does one thing, A18 chip vs A15 won't matter for most (because of how iOS is designed for smooth and slow animations), the camera is still decent, and lots of people still have lightning accessories. Only thing you are really missing out on are fringe features like someone else already mentioned...

No, you don't. You use 1 month and don't pay the next month, and it will unlock after 60 days

Ok, so A15 vs A18 doesn't matter according to you. Are you also going to tell us that 4GB vs 8GB of RAM also doesn't matter. This is getting kind of ridiculous...

I understand the value but at $300 for the iPhone 16e, it's hard to argue that saving an extra $150 is worth 3 fewer years of patches and updates. The 16E isn't worth the $600 price but it's def worth $300.

For me personally it does but to the old less technologically-inclined person who is likely to buy this phone, no it makes little difference that their app has to reload when they enter it again. A15 was already fast and still is, unless Apple artificially slows it down. It's not some budget phone chip even though the 13 for $75 is in budget phone territory,

Eh it's more like $300, at least for the Metro deal, which would make it 5x more expensive. Do I think the 16e is better sure but we are on SD and you really can't beat that kind of deal even for a backup phone. Theoretically the regular 16 could be on sale for the same price in 3 years, we don't know the future.

You have a point but a lot of people report it as being 6 months, still worse but not excrutiatingly long.
