Nope . You pay $364 only to order it . They will pay you $25 per month for 12 months if you stay with ST at $65 month plan . So you will be paying $40 for that plan . This deal is same as straight talk website .

You have a point but a lot of people report it as being 6 months, still worse but not excrutiatingly long.
Yeah I heard the phone was still in range of the old 6 months unlocking policy. But my experience to buy from Metro was the pain in the a*s lol

I am surprised so many people would think an essential iPhone SE4 priced at over $300 is a deal, $399 should be the Apple price without discount.

Because no one would buy the iP16 if they price it like that. Also if you don't buy I don't know why you have to rant here

If you can buy this phone for $364 including or not including one month of service to activate the unlock timer, is $364ish not a great deal if it unlocks after 60 days? THE QUESTION IS DOES IT UNLOCK AFTER 60 DAYS OR 12 MONTHS?

Except straight talk charges tax on the pre-discount price.

ST and WM charges the same taxes for me (unless you were on the pre-order batches from ST which was technically 0 tax)

Ok, so A15 vs A18 doesn't matter according to you. Are you also going to tell us that 4GB vs 8GB of RAM also doesn't matter. This is getting kind of ridiculous...
That depends on if iOS 19/20 doesn't need the ram . I fully expect 4gb to be a problem 21 ish (if for no other reason than to get older iPhones to trade up) but I think anyway that buys an iphone 13 is looking for 2 years from now usage , maybe as a spare phone . Magsafe, physical sim and lightning port have value against the 16e .

You're right, that would have been the next question. And the information was also included in the beginning of the thread (just like always):

"Your device will automatically unlock from Straight Talk after 60-days (and can be used on other compatible networks/services) if you purchase and activate it on any 30-day Straight Talk prepaid plan (sold separately)."

Not sure why that user refuses to read.

There are bloated apps that need 8GB of RAM today to run smoothly.
iOS will work just fine with 2GB, minus the AI stuff.

Magsafe issue can be solved with magsafe case.

Lack of mmWave is a bigger issue for me personally for future-proof phone.

MagSafe case will not charge a phone without MagSafe… might pucker it to the right spot but won't charge once it's there. Only matters to those that charge with MagSafe (car mount and ability to slap your phone before bed is nice.)

mmWave is nice for those who live in an area that actually deploys mmWave. You must be in that area or visit an area that does
