Nope . You pay $364 only to order it . They will pay you $25 per month for 12 months if you stay with ST at $65 month plan . So you will be paying $40 for that plan . This deal is same as straight talk website .

You're right, that would have been the next question. And the information was also included in the beginning of the thread (just like always):

"Your device will automatically unlock from Straight Talk after 60-days (and can be used on other compatible networks/services) if you purchase and activate it on any 30-day Straight Talk prepaid plan (sold separately)."

Not sure why that user refuses to read.
I swear to god even if it was in the thread/ pinned, there would be always at least 1 person gonna ask for every page regardless

Doesn't look like you can walk away with an unlocked device after 60 days, you got to stay in platinum unlimited active plan for 12 months.
I can unlock any straight talk phone in under 2 mins.

MagSafe case will not charge a phone without MagSafe… might pucker it to the right spot but won't charge once it's there. Only matters to those that charge with MagSafe (car mount and ability to slap your phone before bed is nice.)

mmWave is nice for those who live in an area that actually deploys mmWave. You must be in that area or visit an area that does
Well I believe 16e still has wireless charging at 7.5w, MagSafe case will help the phone aligned. But I wouldn't use wireless charging here since it's gonna be very slow and the phone would get hot lol. MagSafe isn't a dealbreaker for me (I know it does for lots of ppl), pretty much I've not even used it with my 14 Pro, just wired charging (faster charging compare to wireless) and I just use regular car mount / Carplay while I'm driving

Yes there's lots of MagSafe cases for 16e. You just get the slow 7.5w qi charge.

Significantly better CPU and modem, wider band 5G, better (yes it's single/hybrid) rear cam, USB-C instead of icky lightning port, better screen/PPI, better audio and Apple is starting to significantly downgrade phone quality starting around the 5 year mark, meaning with iOS 21 and beyond, the 13 will be slowed to a crawl if the trend continues. Yes, that's a real thing and they do it via software updates to encourage people to upgrade. Shady as hell, but it's the reality of the situation.
I sometimes use my iPhone 5S and that little beast works just fine with 4G LTE signal. No issues at all with YT, Google Voice, etc. I've not read where Apple is "starting to significantly downgrade phone quality". Credible link for that claim?

I am fortunate enough to be in a position where I can drive into Canada to purchase a physical SIM iPhone if I wanted to. Issue is, it's going to be at full price. Do I bite the bullet and get the physical slot for $200+ more is the question...
I wonder if you can get the Straight Talk 16e or 13 and trade it for credit off a pSIM version in Canada. If you try this, please let us know. When the 13 deals were active, some people were ordering 2-3 with intentions of using as trade pieces; one for $235 Apple gift card and another possibly for $250 off.

What's the best way to get iPhone 16e in less price?

Buy iPhone 13 from some where and Tradein with Apple ? Metro, Straight Talk, Tracfone, Cricket Wireless everyone is adding Service for few months then almost it's coming 200$+. If you Tradein that in Apple Store for 250$ it's worthless.

Once you sign up for service with another carrier, delete the ST esim from your phone and add a new eSIM from your new carrier. They will either send you the eSIM details in a QR code, or they will ask you for your IMEI information and associate the eSIM on their end, and once you go and add an eSIM on your phone it will automatically download it over wifi and activate. I've done both methods pretty seamlessly.
Isn't it better to just disable the ST esim instead so you can use it to port in for another deal?

Im new to this….so buy this deal from Walmart. Activiate the phone and the first month is free. Do Not continue with the service after one month. Wait 61 days and the phone will be automatically unlock. Now I can take this phone to use on another network.

Did I miss anything? Thanks
