Nope . You pay $364 only to order it . They will pay you $25 per month for 12 months if you stay with ST at $65 month plan . So you will be paying $40 for that plan . This deal is same as straight talk website .

Data point for newer iPhones that show unlocked when you look them up online but show sim locked on the actual phone in settings.

We were told a full factory reset would solve the issue but we weren't prepared to go through all that on the hope it would fix it.

Dual eSIM iPhone 14 with an active primary eSIM account. I simply added a different carrier trial eSIM (Visible had a free 15 day trial). Added the eSIM in second position, said it worked but still showed sim restrictions. Rebooted and boom, worked perfectly.

Hope this saves someone from spending hours or losing all their data, afterwards we removed the secondary eSIM and it still shows no sim restrictions in settings.

You can go back to the Pixel 9 deal post from last year, it was pretty juicy
It was but now people are having a hard time selling them since they're unlocked. I've seen so many on marketplace for $500 😅

it's just another glitch (it's been mentioned in several deals over the past few weeks, not just this one).

All comments say that a phone automatically unlocks in 60 days, but ST's unlocking policy indicates that it may take 12 months. Can somebody please clarify?
  • For all cellphones Activated with TracFone on the T-Mobile or AT&T networks on or after November 23, 2021, the cellphone will be remotely unlocked upon customer request after twelve (12) months of active TracFone service.
  • For all cellphones Activated with TracFone service on the Verizon network on or after November 23, 2021, the cellphone will be remotely unlocked automatically, sixty (60) days after Activation.

That message is from when Verizon bought the brand over 3 yrs ago & they've never changed it. Doesn't really apply anymore since all their locked phones activate on Verizon, there's no other option.

No not really for Walmart if it excludes apples products . Maybe 1-3-% if not. Straight talk has much better CB and can usually be combined with CC Cashback deals for those who have straight talk cashback offers
CC Cashback deals available?

You're not reading the post correctly, this was a phone that had reached 60 days, but still showed sim locked in settings.

Why are they having a hard time to sell the phone? P9 only requires iPhone 12 to trade in, iP12 cost like $75 from Metro iirc. Ez money to sell at 500, which I did last year

I actually had this with my iP13 from ST. Got sim locked in setting despite it should be unlocked already. Still showing sim locked after factory reset, I simply just put a new sim in and it will show no sim restrictions and that new sim also works
