it went out of stock well after the announcement, and i think the shortage is genuine - i ordered on thurs within hours of it showing available again, and it just shipped, nearly 48 hours later - they usually ship within 24 hrs.

It may go down, it may go up, or it may go out of stock again. Unless you have a crystal ball and can predict the future (or work for T-mobile), you have no idea.

For those trading this in for an apple gift card, $125 (or $130 assuming you pay $5 for the Visible port in number) for a $225 Apple gift card is still an excellent deal.

OP, first thanks for posting the deal Smilie

But you might want to clarify how you got the $125 price. I see a user in thread, SDJunkie76, gave a price break down for users in post #4 but it's always good to have that in your OP itself so users can see how you got to your price when it's not obvious, which helps to not get thumbs down sometimes.

Edit: I see you're on the mobile app so you can't edit your post in the app itself. But you can do so via your PC or you can go to the desktop view of your thread on your phone/tablet and edit from there.
