I just ordered it for the atmos track. So they should be announcing the 4k version any day now. You are welcome.

I just ordered this, it's been on my want list for a while. Therefore, a 4k will prob be announced within a month or so.

There was mentions of a May 2025 release by Bill Hunt here : https://thedigitalbits.com/column...22424-1300

we've been reporting on a number of forthcoming Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment 4K catalog titles that are expected to arrive in 2025, but we've just gotten confirmation from the studio's Korean distributor that Alfonso Cuarón's Gravity (2013) is finally set for release on the format in May of next year. The specific street date is still TBA and subject to change, but we're confident the title is actually coming this time.

No not crap, the only thing you're missing out on is the Atmos codec/soundtrack.
TBH it's only worth it with an optimal setup anyways imo.
A good optimal legacy setup(ie 5.1) can easily rival these alternative Atmos setups imo.
If you have something like Auro or Virtual X, you can just simulate it.

This is a good BR transfer, PQ wise.
If you have a good player, this upscaled is pretty good also.
As we can see from past transfers, how well they would do on a HDR metadata transfer can vary widely in quality!

If you don't own this already and wanted it.
This version was hard to get ahold of & a good price imo.

Picking this up as I've read the atmos track in the diamond deluxe version is amazing. Would love to have 4k, but I guess I'll see how the UB820 upscales this go-round.
