Code worked, got a Turkey Italiano that slapped. The sandwich artist demanded I salute the sub before eating or he'd ban me. Seven bucks is a bargain for that level of drama!

How much were eggs back then? Salaries? Cars? Homes? My grandpa keeps talking about how gas was 60 cents a gallon when he was a kid as though everything else had remained the same price as 80 years ago except for gas.

I used to get Carl's Jr Big Burgers for a dollar each about the same time. Carl's cheapest burger is now around 6 bucks.

Cant believe ppl love subway that much. You can pay about the same at publix and get s much better sub imo. Subway to me is the worst sub place out of all. Not to mention they skimp out on their meat portions
Agreed but it's easier to find a subway on a road trip. It's also quicker to pop in and out of subway. The Publix around me are so freakin slow so if I forget to order ahead and I'm in a rush subway is a better option.

I remember before the pandemic McDonald's 6 piece chicken nugget was on the dollar menu. $1 for 6 chicken nuggets. Burger King had 10 nuggets for $1 for a long time too. Today? Going on the McDonald's app it says $5 for a 6 piece. That's not the full meal. Just 6 chicken nuggets for $5. 😭🫣😮

I can't believe fast food places are still in business. Who the heck is paying $5 for 6 nuggets?

The people complaining about it not being the $5 footlong should note that it is about $7.50 in 2025 dollars. So... it's basically the same thing, unless of course your income did not increase in conjunction. I can then understand why you'd be upset and refuse to buy it until it's $5 again.

Better ask Mr. Peabody if you can borrow the WayBack Machine and if you do stop in 2008 and buy me $500 worth of Bitcoin !!

Requires you to use a mobile phone and to download their "application" for the coupon code.
Just curious, why is application in quotation marks?

20 mcnuggets with 3 sauces are $7. Order less and you are doing it wrong.

Publix is limited to people living , traveling in southeast region states. Im from west coast and for sandwiches limited to local delis, super market delis, subway or just buy deli ingredients in bulk from Costco and make my own
