Got this for $99 and currently using it for my basement movie experience. Working great for me. But I am no audiophile...

It's interesting that it says this is a 2.4GHz connection. I've seen older devices that operate on 2.4GHz that are not Wifi (for example, those old wireless Wavebird Gamecube controllers) cause terrible Wifi interference because it's crapping/spewing data all over the 2.4GHz spectrum. Anyone know if this subwoofer is similar?

Many devices use 2.4ghz today so this isn't anything unusual. Wireless headsets, mice, controllers and so on. Even Bluetooth is in 2.4ghz band.

It's possible for there to be interference of course, though probably unlikely to the point it will cause an issue. The only interference I've experienced recently is funnily enough from a Roomba. It wasn't 2.4ghz but rather spamming IR with it's radar. My old receiver remote wouldn't work while it was running.

Depends on your priorities and preferences. For me, any audio playback is infinitely better than nothing, but I like to have better than entry level gear because sometimes even a little difference can make all the difference.

No. That was clearance. This is sale including shipping. Not the same thing.

Can you hook up 2 with single transmitter?
Unfortunately, no. You can use them as wired subs though. I have 2 of these set up in my system. (And rented a box truck and picked up 25 from a costco 80 miles away, down to the last 12 for sale in my hallway...).

I bought a couple on the last $99 closeout. I love them. Best thump for the $ you'll find.

I can't find the thread for the $99 one 😔
it depends, klipsch changed their naming conventions for their products

reference line was renamed reference premier, the current reference line was what was klipsch's entry level products that (i don't believe had a special line name for)

you can find this on sale for 99$ but the caveat is the only time i see it for that price is without the wireless dongle adapter which is 50 dollars by itself (at least last time i remember seeing it... that was a while ago)

EDIT: i did find a video doing a review on this for 99$ from costco but it was 99.97 which i think is managers clearance decision which is store dependent. so technically you can get this on clearance with the wifi adapter for that price if its on clearance

That's not how subwoofer pricing works. The RSL 10 has slightly deeper extension so yes it is worth more but it's still not a good sub.

This is truly an entry-level sub and hits down to 29hz like every other cheap sub. You won't know what you're missing until you spend the money on a better klipsch and that's no way to live, truly

I am using one on my small basement theater system at the front right corner of the room. Im getting plenty bass. Question is do i get a better experience if i add one more on the front left corner and fire bass from both ends? My receiver is a 5.2 so I do have one more room for it.

Thanks. I was hoping we could do that without having to wire and use splitter.
Costco must be happy to see all of them go on a single transaction.

Since this also has low-level inputs, you don't to run this wirelessly.

I still haven't gotten around to opening and setting up this sub.

I hope it outshines my old JBL sub.

Great point and an important consideration, hence why I said $99 is still an amazing deal! I think this difference would only really matter to people who listen to bass-heavy music or movies
Well it's not what someone listens to, it's the quality of the sound.
That's the beauty of what we hear, it's completely subjective.
There is no universal better or worse, even though people often try to claim there is.

You then throw in "best bang for your buck" into that question, makes it exponentially much more complicated!

Then why isn't this deal listing this as "$50 more then the last deal" like they always do with repeating deals?
