These are made by InFar in Taiwan; the company that owns the patent on the head design, and makes the identical ones for the Anti-slip ICON and Max-bite Milwaukee.

Long pattern, with non-slip teeth. I would not recommend using these on fancy chrome hardware, as the teeth are going to leave marks.

Lifetime warranty, exchange at any NAPA auto parts store, no receipt needed.

9 through 19mm, no skips.

One of the main reasons this is such a good deal is because this set is expandable. You can buy individual sizes going up fairly large. There is a full assortment allowing you to build an expanded range end wrench set. These are also slightly thinner than the icon, more of a snap-on profile. Absolutely spectacular wrenches

I'm a newbie but why not 6 point on closed end? Is this an issue or are these primary used with open side only?

12 points on the closed end, gives you 2x the engagement positions; so you have a much greater chance of "finding it" in a cramped area.

On a ratchet, you can use 6 point, because you can turn the ratchet in 5* increments to "find it".

The open end is used when your access to the fastener is limited, maybe prohibiting the use of the closed end. If you are breaking free a really tight fastener, your first choice should be the closed end; if that can't be reached, choose the open end.

Carlyle - Pittsburg quality, Strap-On prices.
Snap-On at this price would be a bargain.
