Those iGPUs are getting better but still not as good as a gtx 1030 so no real gaming on this but it's better than what I started with (GTX 730)

DDR3? I get that it's $50 but that's a 10 year old CPU. It released in March 2015 and by today's standards is hard to think of as anything but e-waste. A new build using DDR3 is an utter waste of time, even for media consumption. Far better options that have more power, are way more efficient, and probably cheaper once fitted with parts it needs.

Not worth the price at all. Plenty of N97 or similar deals. Can't imagine how slow this is.

is there a website that tells you what cpu is good enough for basic web browsing, what is good enough for lite gaming, etc.

i cant keep up with all these cpu serial numbers , how do you guys do it quickly without devoting so much time into it?

what is the fast way you figure out a cpu is good for your purpose or not? (besides waiting for some jedi on sd forum to chime in)

there are those benchmark sites (first result on google besides an intel link) like this ... https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu....Hz&id=2504 but its just gibberish numbers to me, looks like its some automated page, so what is a better way?

how do you guys do it?

Looks like GG40 also works with the version with the U850 which has the i5-10210U, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD, brings it down to $129.

A lot more than $49 (percentage wise) but for $80, it's very much worth the upgrade and it isn't effectively ewaste.
