If you want superior sound, top-notch noise cancelation, then go for xm5.
If you want decent good noise cancelation, apdative sound feature, easy put pop in and out your ear and superior mic, i would go for Samsung. The Samsung pro buds is amazing at canceling the background noise when you talk to someone. The person who talk to me always ask me why it is so quiet even the surrounding is extremely loud.
I love them both, each of them has different case of usage.
One of the best earbuds out there for the price. There are better ones out there but they cost significantly more.

For me, any of the ear buds can get a bit tiring after a while in your ears, regardless of how comfortable they are. I personally, prefer to use bose quiet comfort when I'm flying, or mowing the lawn. The noise cancellation is superior, and I can wear them for more extended periods without fatigue.
While it's mainly a part of CA's BS regulations which allows vendors to charge tax on the original, pre-discount price of the item, I could not get a straight answer out of anyone from Samsung as to why I was being charged over $20 tax on a $74.99 item.
It doesn't even list the percentage paid as a line item on your invoice or receipt. The Samsung support gave me the run around multiple times and eventually asked me for a ta exempt form. 🤦
Samsung customer service is rubbish and as someone who has been a longtime Samsung loyalists, it put a major damper on that loyalty come next time I am faced with making a new phone purchase.
