I bought these about a year ago on another SD. Depending on the brand I wear a 10 or 10.5. I went with the 10.5 and they fit fine. I have at least 200 miles on these and they are wearing fine and are quite comfortable on my feet.

Gotta say that heel looks very uncomfortable. Those kind tend to rub on the back of my Achilles. Much prefer a cutout there.

REI sizing chart reads "Generally, most people size down a half to a full size when buying Danner boots as compared to their shoe size from other major footwear brands."
Ergo, if I normally wear 11, this suggests I try 10.5.
Does anyone have real-life experience that this is indeed the case with Danner boots?

These are true to size. I've owned a couple of pairs. Do not size up or down unless you're wearing with a wool sock and want to size up for that reason. First pair I owned was really comfortable. Second pair was hella tight in the toe box. I'm wearing Topos now, but they're expensive. This is a really good deal on the Danners.
