Solid deal and a great monitor overall.

From my personal experience, I purchased this around mid-January 2025. I'm on my third replacement (just arrived moments ago actually). The first one required me to unplug the unit completely for it to turn on and eventually not even that method worked. The second unit worked and I was excited for about 30-minutes before the monitor randomly shut off. Upon turning it back on, I got a line across the entire screen roughly 1" from the bottom that would quickly fade in/fade out. Then, of course, it would stop and the monitor would turn off again within random amounts of time (e.g., 2-minutes, 5-min, 10-min, etc). Hoping this third unit will fix my issue as it is an absolutely stunning monitor (when it works).
Best of luck to anyone getting one soon!

Tried it, hated it. LG 42" OLED TV is so much better, any gen back to C2.

I use a 42" C2 and am waiting for a good 27-32" option. What made you dislike it?

I just returned this to Best Buy about an hour ago. Text clarity was not doing it for me. If I was only using it for gaming all the time and never needed to use it for desktop work, I'd say it was nice, if I wanted 240Hz over having a larger 144Hz display like a C4. I switched to an LG 32GS95UE which is W-OLED vs QD-OLED. For my uses, this monitor seems a lot better, although I miss having a curve. I've also only owned it for like an hour, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Also I recommend getting an open box excellent and getting the 4 year warranty with it.

Tried lg 42" oled tv C2 hated it, bought this dell oled and love it. If lg oled tv were better at monitor than all oled monitors, there wouldnt be a reason to buy pc oled monitor. You can find c2 42" for much cheaper

Funny, I have the prior ultra wide version of this monitor and after about a year DisplayPort 1 failed. I had a warranty replacement monitor out within 3-4 days.

That monitor came with a cracked screen. They tried to assume I must have done it, but the warranty packaging leaves a lot to be desired compared to an OEM box. Dreading putting up the new replacement again today, as it's wall mounted with hidden cables and a big chore to swap out.

Not to mention with Dell, a replacement is a REFURB, not a new monitor. And you're right -- shipped in a crappy box nothing like a new one. You're lucky to get one so fast -- I bought a Dell 6K, requested an exchange because of discoloration issues and 3 weeks later, some "team" was still deciding whether to approve it AFTER they approved it then revoked it! $3K for an imperfect monitor and no replacement in sight. I returned it a few days before my return window closed. Bought an ASUS ROG 4K QD-OLED and haven't been happier.

Why do you say "great monitor overall" when you've had two bad ones in two months?

Thank you for reaching out.

The color/picture, deep blacks, connections, and prompt support I've gotten from Dell is why I noted that. You're correct in questioning my response. I feel like despite getting two duds, I cannot reasonably give it, let's say, a 1 out of 5 stars. It does provide me with a 4/5 easily with the 1/5 being my present situation skewing my judgment.

Hello! Yes, I troubleshot everything I could think of and nothing was helping unfortunately. I switched out DVI, HDMI, power connector, wall outlet, etc. It seemed like nothing I did was helping with the first monitor. The second one was definitely Dell messing up with not testing it for more than maybe 1-2 minutes.

I am seconding this. I am a bit upset with them sending refurbished replacements. I am glad they send replacements so quickly (within 3-4 days), but not sending a new one has been the most upsetting situation I'm stuck in. I also took too long to return it like Hat-Trick luckily was able to do.
