And for everyone else, microcenter always discounts macbooks by 10%. That's just a permanent sale price. Anything more than 10% is a real sale. This makes microcenter one of, if not the cheapest retailer for apple products day-to-day if you happen to live near one.
Even if you make a step by step guide and plastered it on their browser homepage, most people will either not put in the effort or energy to get a "deal"

If you search for price match on Best Buy website, Micro Center is included.

You may get lucky with a clueless rep, but after being denied a PM with a MC 90 miles away, I talked to a store manager who confirmed if it's an in-store deal, the "qualified competitor" has to be within a few miles. BB would PM if I wanted to do a in-store pickup at the BB close to the MC, but who wants to drive 200 miles round trip?
