The best way would be to use activated charcoal to absorb the VOCs that cause a lot of the smells after deep cleaning the inside of the car. The only issue with it is that you need to refresh or replace the charcoal often. I use cabin filters that have the charcoal as part of their construction but it requires 3-6 month replacement to ensure they still have the absorption active. Which gets expensive over time.
