Maybe just me, but I never buy a product on Amazon when the manufacturer recycles the same product page for a different product (check reviews, they're all for different external drives).

That's because there are multiple products on the listing page. You can filter the reviews to only this device. This isn't the case of faking reviews where they have one product and change it out for another.

Bought this in November of 2022 for $113. Works well, but can get hot. As noted previously, this is a standalone cloning station, you do not need to install any drivers or programs onto your system. You will, however, need a partition manager to resize the partitions if you're cloning onto a larger SSD. Alternatively, you can just create another logical drive to use the extra space if resizing isn't an option.

I have had 2 of these for a few years now. They work well, but can get hot as stated. I haven't had to use one in a while for cloning, but iirc, it cloned a 500 GB drive in about 15 minutes or less. Cloning from a 500 m.2 to a 1 gb m.2

I have a similiar device (cloning station dual drive, but SATA) that works fine as a dock, I imagine this would have the same limitations, USB speeds being a bottle neck but fine for moderate use or backup.

3/17/25 10am just tried to scoop this and I think it's over. The promo code wouldn't work, I tried several times loading it back in my cart and it failed every time. Congrats to the peeps that did scoop it!
