Called into T-Mobile today because I got a text saying my plan is increasing by $5/line since my older T-Mobile One plan has been the same price for 8 years. The rep told me that there is a targeted offer available to some older plans that started today 3/13/25. Bring your own device and get a free line. I had to pay $10 for a sim card, but they were able to credit me $10 to my account.

Worth a try to call in if you have an older plan. YMMV.

Update - They added a "free" line for me the other day. They mailed me the SIM, but I had asked for an Esim. They spent a long time working on it and came back and said to have the "free" line I would have to swap plans and the bill would be $60 more than I am paying without the free line. After about an hour, and going over other plans, I finally gave up and had them put everything back to the Advantage Unlimited plan and deleted the "free" line.
Good luck, but check your bill.

Yeah...... I hear ya! I just found out the rep changed my plan to add the 2 new lines WITHOUT mentioning a thing and actually lying to me when I asked if my plan would remain unchanged! 🤬 Spent most of today getting everything escalated and reverted. Should have known, too good to be true!

Anyone with the T-Life free line promo that signed up on 3/15 still have not receiving the free line added promo SMS?

I got my physical SIM on 3/18, received line activated email from tmobile 3/19, I have not yet inserted the SIM in case I want to no-install this line later. No free line SMS received and the Service Promo and cost details page does not have any promo for the new line.

Reached out to T-Force and they claimed promo will take one or two billing cycles to activate, it that BS? The strange thing is, I have another 2023 BYOD free line and it also doesn't show up in the Service Promo page but does show up in the cost details page.

Nothing online here. What plan shows for you? They set mine as a go 5g plan.
Physical SIM didn't activate when I tried it. T Force activated and charged $10 even though the phone rep shipped it free. They did credit me after paying.
Chatted again later and they say they see the segment and that it should be free.
Not confident it's going to work. Be a few days before new bill generates. Then I'll know for sure if they're telling the truth.

To see what T-mobile has for your account, follow these self service instructions: Post 323, post 339, and post 397

Service promotions set at the account level will be hidden on the Service Promo page due to logic to only show line level promotions. However, if you follow the self service instructions, you can see all the promotions that T-mobile has for you. Your 2023 BYOD free line and ID250259 may be set at the account level. For example, in my account, I have 15 entries for promotions data, but only 7 show up on Service Promo page because some are expired, some are account level, and some are only EIP promotions.

I had to contact TForce on Facebook to get my plans changed back to Advantage Unlimited and for them to reactivate my extras. However, they've told me that it's impossible to repair the Pandora On Us perk and that it's gone forever. They offered a free year of Pandora to make up for it, but that's obviously less than permanent and is quite frustrating.

Chances don't seem good that this is real for me despite phone, t force, and app chat reports all saying they see the promo on my line. Unless I missed it buried in there or it somehow shows up when the billing actually happens.

Sometimes it does take a while for a promotion to show up. Just screenshot the conversations with a visible date timestamp for your records in case it doesn't show up later.

I felt my rep wasn't being truthful here, but he really pushed the eSIM and to activate a phone right then. He said that is the best way to make sure it works and the free line goes through. I initially asked for a SIM card, and he recommended against it.

I for my text right away and it's on my promotions page as well.

I have had Sero/Advantage Unlimited for years and don't remember Pandora on us as a permanent thing. I had Tidal which they then took away and they offered only a free year of Pandora to make up for it. I don't like Pandora so I passed. Did they end up making it permanent if you signed up for the year?

Happened to me as well, trying to get it fixed. I never had Netflix, but did have everything else and all that got removed from my account. Definitely felt like the reps were not truthful or maybe not aware of what will happen when they make these changes.

There is nothing under promotions related to this deal. How long did you guys wait until it showed up?

The Tmobile rep said it could take 1-2 billing cycles which I believe is BS.

Looks like you can see this online under My Promotions (Service Promos tab). This will lists all the lines along with its discount id.
