Depends on how use your MBA but I would still keep the 512. The hard drive of the 256 is much slower (even though I doubt you will notice the difference). You also get 2 GPU cores extra (again, unless you are a gamer or do heavy Grafik stuff, you won't feel any difference) and you get the fancy dual 35w compact charger (instead of the simple 30w). And you seem to keep your computers for a long time so I think the bigger ssd makes more sense.

That makes sense, especially if I plan to keep it for another 6-7 years like this one. Now just to decide if I want midnight or silver.

You'd need to contact Best Buy or visit a Best Buy store and ask for a price match, providing the Best Buy item SKU, the link to the microcenter item (must be the same model, and showing a lower price for Best Buy to match).

But it's currently OOS (Only 1 in stock at IN), so Best Buy isn't willing to price match, unfortunately.

I literally had chat do it twice today.

Also deal got slicker, there's as of yesterday bonus credit for apple purchases and microcenter has the 512gb 15 inch which it didn't as recently as yesterday
