So there are games to appeal to other gamers. Sorry if Astrobot is not for you but I'm sure you kid if young enough would enjoy it.

Yes, like I said. it never hit number one, and it sat on number 2 for like a day, hence it sold 1.5 million for the first 2 months, not that good. it only showed up on top 10 for a day or two during xmas, but it was like no. 7 or 8, doesn't do much good. Then it never showed up after the xmas season on the top 10... I monitor that list every few days.

I'm talking about NPD which is more important than the PSN charts since it also has physical and it is against all platforms. SO it has done great for a game that is more appealing to a Nintendo audience. Don't act like this isn't a great game. It might not be tailored to your tastes but definitely Sony is doing this to push towards the family demographics and not trying to bump up the sales number of the game when NPD doesn't even count games sold as as addin to a console it in it's totals.

Globally it's $100 more than launch. It's still underpriced to what it is.
Xbox sells at loss and sometimes sells for $350 which is a huge loss for Microsoft.

silly liitle dude still think physical is relevant! it's already down to 30% on playstation. In fact, xmas of 2023 data show only 3% of playstation fans buy physical. It keeps dropping as we speak... Get on with the new fnormal dude. LOL

Ok great way to talk down to people. NPD is official tracking charts and PSN daily charts aren't not. Whether Physical makes up a lot of sales is not relevant. You must be have low self esteem to have to call me a name. NPD is an official tracking of sales. Look it up! Please, show me were 3% of December 2023 sales on Playstation were Physical. There is nothing official for sure. Even NPD who tracks both Physical and Digital has stated that 40% of all physical sales of all software come from Pyaystation. While playstation exclusives do around 60% on Physical (link below). Sony never shy on reporting good sale numbers, and since the 1.5 million copies sold in 2 months, Sony hasn't mention about astrobot sale number anymore. which mean it is not selling that well!

Also, I am aware of the January number 5 sale on psn, but you do notice that it is only selling better than a 20-year-old game called Minecraft right? I doubted minecraft is selling millions in January... LOL Maybe selling 50k copies is more reasonable.
It is also selling behind College football 25 which is released in july 2024. So I doubted it is selling more than 100k after 5-6 months...
Be real, that month just don't have any new game out, hence astrobot looks relevant...

That isn't true. It has been in NPD charts every month since September. Also, the point is the demographics they are trying for this game. The younger kids.
