Seems like a good assortment and a lot of food for the money. This is a decent brand their food cans are rated well.

Just note there's no meat in this, so not a lot of protein. But to get better food, with meat, like Montainhouse, it's a lot more money.

Expiration dates in the Amazon reviews suggest these are good for 25 years. In case you're wondering, like I was.

FWIW, I hear McDonalds stored in open air lasts this long allegedly. I might mix and match for variety.

These guys have a lot of nerve trying to tell me I can't eat Creamy Stroganoff for breakfast....

I still have a bucket of this sitting at the back of my pantry that has been sitting there since the Covid jabs started getting rolled out. No regrets, as I view it as an 'insurance policy' in case I can't go out to a store and get food again for 'whatever reason'. A one time payment of $65 bucks for an insurance policy that doesn't expire until, in my case, 2035 is a good deal. I think I paid like $80 for mine
Well put. People will pay hundreds of dollars a month for medical insurance and home insurance and car insurance, but they look down on you for paying $65 once for food insurance. I keep a rotating pantry of shorter shelf-life stuff from costco and occasionally buy freeze-dried food on sale. The money I save with bulk costco purchases easily pays for the freeze-dried stuff.

Not much of a sale according to the 3C's.

Not sure I understand the 92 serving when I count 16 items. Is it 4x the 16 items?

Costco has a similar one of these with 150 meals for $60 or $70 when you buy it in store

He might be referring to this 150 serving bucket. A serving is a made-up unit. The bucket total is 25,280 calories, about a 10 day supply.

In store its regularly $65 i think. I keep getting tempted to buy it just to use for backpacking food. They have been sitting a long time with the star on the price sign, lol, its kind of funny most food they push out a lot faster but i guess theres no risk in these spoiling is there

I vote for sardines instead. You can eat them without waiting for the world to end, and give them out at Halloween too.
LMAO if you do give out sardine tins at Halloween i hope the windows on the front of your house are nice and sturdy because they're about to get impact-rated.

i mean, this company is notorious for ripping people off lately, starting from the pandemic. i used to buy their hard spring or winter wheat berries for $13-$15 for a 25lb bucket. now it's $40-$50. i would never buy this product. it's better to buy individual items or make better quality items for long term storage.

I put this on S&S for the next delivery date in 2050. I'll be passed on but I bet my kids will be able to use it 😜

Just buy canned meat, dried beans, rice, honey, powdered milk and a good water filter. find recipes and brands you like, instead of getting things in bulk.

Picked up a couple to store in the root cellar. Given current state of affairs, seems like a decent idea to have on hand.

They can serve it for your repass. Think of it as prepaying for your own funeral "final" party. ðŸĪŠ
