Ehhhh. Disagree. Just because it is cotton doesn't mean it is like one of the Hanes "beefy" tees. Cotton can breathe. If it is like the other adidas shirts of this style, it will be relatively thin.

30% isn't high enough of a blend to lead to much moisture retention like a 100% cotton shirt.

How do these run? I sometimes need an Xl but often an L is fine if it is generous

If you're going to be soaking wet, cotton isn't great. But for a moderate workout in an air-conditioned room, cotton adds comfort and the 30% blend won't hold too much moisture.
