I think it works well but it's not magic either. It can clean injectors, and top engine cleaner can potentially help clean deposits on valves when used as directed.

So I guess it is one of those right tool for the job things. Can it help maintain vehicles who may have been using a lot of cheap gas and have some deposits, might help, but it's not an engine rebuild in a can.

Seafoam is one of the first type of these products, so its def not cutting edge. I use it for a week before an oil change in the crankcase to break up deposits, and for that I def see a difference. Oil goes from brown to black. Its probably better for lawn mower engines and such.

Project Farm has some videos on Seafoam. Seems to work pretty good.
