Why is there a shifter but no clutch 🤔🧐 haven't gamed in a while but how would that work for shifting, you just float shift 🤔 and will this blow my transmission in the game 🤗

Seeing this weirds me out. This is what I thought they'd be selling 25 years ago instead of unconnected brakes, steering, gears. So obvious but no one did anything about it including me I suppose.

I've had a stand like this for a little while. It's okay. I use a Logitech G29 to play American Truck Sim.. It isn't super wobbly, stands up to the feedback on the wheel just fine. It's a lot nicer than clamping stuff to my desk all the time. It all stays on the stand and gets moved out of the way when I'm done.

However they're not _that_ compact The biggest downside I think is that you can't reliably work pedals while in a rolling chair, especially when you're using two feet for with a clutch. I bought little rubber blocks I put behind my chair on when I'm playing, which helps, but it's not perfect. You might want to use something like a dining chair or locking casters on your chair if you go with one of these stands.

At least as far back as Grand Turismo 2 and Sega Rally Championship, games didn't use clutches. It was impractical on non-analogue controllers. But I feel like it would be awesome to have a clutch for driving American muscle cars on Forza. My main career car in that is often a 1969 GTO or a Boss Mustang 429.

Do they use clutches now?

I bought a similar one last time here, its nice but bobbles I haven't had the time to fix it, plenty of videos on how to fix it.
