Is there a good head lamp that also has just red light or bug mode for when kayaking at night? Don't want to attract a ton of bugs…

Anyone have any experience with this brand/light? Does the lumen claims come close? Sounds like the op has an old version of said light? It is healthy bright to work in say a dark attic?

i have that, its way too heavy on my hard hat. 4000 lumensm closer to 3000 reality though

Wurkkos make decent lights. Similar to Sofirn or Thrunite. I'd prefer Wurkkos over Thrunite actually.

Thanks OP - in 4 1. I've been waiting for a decent deal on a quality metal headlamp with the all-important (to me) usb-c port that's protected by a o-ring sealed sleeve, versus the more common captive rubber cover. I've found the former method much more secure and reliable.

Yes I ordered 2 of these last sale. Great for the price! Used my own salvaged 18650s and they last a long time.

Unscrew one side for battery and other side is USB-C port for charging. 5 white modes and a memory so it starts up where it was when off.

Build quality is not quite as good as my Wurkkos FC11 or Convoy S2 but it is metal and have had no problems with durability and I use it 4-5 nights a week for 10 mins or so taking the dog and compost out.

I know some people in construction. The first 3 or so hours can be pretty dark. Would this work for them?
