Just based on that Pixel phone either having charging issue or lower quality battery for their phone that must easier to swell.

SO get it for 299+tax and trade in for 490 at best but and get Pixle 9 pro xl for 299+tax + 9+tax, around 360 plus the activation fee.
Is this correct right?

My local pickup order was cancelled as the was out of stock after I order. They changed to shipping for same price.
Doesn't feel like too good a deal as my 6a is working perfectly. I ordered as I worry about being forced to get larger phone. Not many small phones at this price. Maybe easier to trade my 6a in and keep 8a as backup

Just got a google pixel 9pro xl 256gb for $600 on ebay open box. These phones are way better than IOS. Its almost like the OS is actually your friend where IOS is like a boring teacher.

I just purchased the Pixel 8a to replace my Pixel 6a. I really didn't need or want to. However, from what I understand the Pixel 9a will come with a 6.3in screen vs 6.1in for the Pixel 8a.
I don't want a bigger screen. Every new phone seems to go up in size.
Also, the Pixel 6a has 5 years of OS and security updates and the Pixel 8a has 7 years of OS and security updates. I like future-proof as I tend to keep my phones for years until it goes obsolete without the OS and security updates.
Finally, I purchased my Pixel 6a from Target in May 2023 for $299. So for $299 for the Pixel 8a I feel this is a great deal.

When I get to the cart, the price goes up to $599 instead of $499 for the XL so it's $109 instead of $9 + tax after the trade-in
