Although the cans are only 3oz compared to the usual 5oz variety I buy, it still seems like a good deal that both my kitty and I will enjoy. I'm in for a case at $11.29 (No coupon appeared for me), shipped via S&S. Thanks, OP.

The retail price of $23,000 for 4.5 lbs. of tuna seems a tad exaggerated

Thanks for heads up, we fixed it!

But in reality... 4.5lb of some really good fresh sashimi-grade blue-fin toro would probably fetch that...

It's worth noting that the 3 oz cans you would assume have 3/5 the amount of tuna drains but in reality they are closer to 1/2 the amount of tuna per can. The 24 pack of 3 oz is 1488 grams vs 24 of 5 oz is 2715. $10.70 5% S&S for 139 grams a dollar vs $17.82 5% S&S for 152 grams, both appear to have 5% coupon for me.

Dead ?
But did buy the 5oz, 10. Seemed like a good deal at 89 cents per can.

I don't mind the juice, as I give it to my kitty along with some meat when I make a simple tuna fish salad (chopped onion, black pepper, mayonnaise, and sea salt).

We share the can, so nothing goes to waste. However, the high salt content isn't great for a cat's kidneys, so I only do this twice a week. Perhaps TMI laugh out loud

You can save more by price-watching this listing [amazon.com]. It frequently goes on sale for $15 via S&S (it's currently around $17).

The deal is so reliable that I've grown accustomed to getting 24 cans (5 oz each) a month for $15—or even less when coupons are available, which happens often.
