I have a Honda lawn mower, Ryobi 18v string trimmer and blower (although the head of the string trimmer is cracked and I am scared to use it nowadays thinking that it may come apart at high speed). I am happy with the string trimmer and blower as they are good at what the function is and I use it about 3-4 times a year only.
The Honda self-propelled lawn mower (FWD, I think) is hard on the back especially on slopes, and I avoid mowing much nowadays because of that until the grass grows to a point where I cannot avoid it any further. I have heard that battery powered lawn mowers are light and easy to use.

I have what I think is this very mower. I bought it, barely used, at a local charity thrift store and it came with a serious hedge trimmer and an 18" chain saw that still had the tag on it. The whole set came with one 4 ah battery and two 2 ah batteries.
The mower seems fine and works just as well as my gas self propelled mower except for one detail which it a bit of a PITA in my opinion... It's rear wheel drive. My gas mower is front wheel drive and that means when I need to turn, I simply rock the mower back on the rear wheels, turn and set it back down and I'm off. With this mower, if I disengage the drive and then turn the same way it's fine except that the drive takes too much time to re-engage. If I'm doing a 30' run before the next turn, I'm pushing it half way before the drive kicks in fully. It just makes a bit awkward on the turns.
That said, I still use this mower over my gas one just for the quieter operation. I can almost do my entire yard with the 4ah battery but most times, not quite so I need to plug in one of the 2ah batts to finish. I have a 1/3 acre lot.

Thank you.
It does seem to be a pita for turning. Does your yard have slopes and does the mower navigate easier through those?
Yeah, weird

In my opinion, Amazon offers better returns, but you might miss out on cashback by not purchasing directly from Greenworks' site. However, I haven't checked for any available cashback offers...

Thanks for the post. Going with this Amazon version to replace my 2016 green works mower. The return policy helps.
