I bought this the last time it went on sale for $500. Overall, great machine, no major complaints given the price. I mostly use this to surf the web and watch videos. This can handle 4K video well, no stutter at all. The screen is very nice. The speakers are good too, loud enough and clear. I like that this uses USB-C charging. Comes with a bonus carrying bag as well.
Few things that people may not like: 1) the case/body is made of recycled material, so it does feel like cheap plastic. 2) wake from sleep takes an extra 5-10 seconds sometimes, because it seems to load the bios screen instead of going straight to log in page. This happens about 20% of the time. 3) the fan noise is audible when program starts such as when I start Outlook or Chrome, but the fan only spins high for about 10-20 seconds or so. The rest of the time it is not audible.
Given the price, I like this a lot. There are a few other $500 or under laptop deals earlier, but I went with this because I like the bigger screen.

this looks pretty good to me. no more ram but there is a slot for another SSD, which is nice. 400 nit screen is better than most at this price, from what i can see. thanks for the review, zzheng. hopefully the sleep issue doesn't bug me too much. i did go ahead and order one. a problem for me is no one makes a keyboard protector for this model, and that's something a sloppy guy would really like to find.
btw, it's still showing a price of $899 on ebay, though it's 550 via bestbuy.com

Very cool. Thank you. How did you manage to think it would fit? The specs call for a 15.6 screen and it doesn't mention this particular model. Regardless, that's great that it fits.
