The kobalt deal is a greater discount but there's more nuance to it. How big is your yard? Do you have 40v kobalt or 20v DeWalt tools already? Do you plan on stopping at a blower/trimmer or will continue buying more cordless tools? If yes, what is your budget?Both kobalt tools are brushless while the DeWalt only has a brushless blower. The 40v batteries are significantly more expensive and are physically larger while also having a longer runtime. Kobalt is only available through Lowes while DeWalt can be found at Lowes, home Depot, ace, amazon, etc.If you are starting fresh with either brand I'd lean towards the DeWalt.
