These do taste pretty good, opened up one of my cans to give it a test. I recommend hydrating a little longer than they recommend.

Don't expect them to be quite as good as freshly shredded, but still pretty good.

I bought a couple of cans of this. The first one was really off putting. When cooking had a real odd odor. The second can was decent. i still prefer the Wax carton type hash browns. Need to treat these like dried beans. Hydrate for a least a couple hours, then cook for 20 minutes then let set for an hour before using them to make hash browns. Otherwise a little rubbery.
