These are amazing for cruises. For those who don't know, all cabins are made entirely of metal. These will stick to any wall ceiling etc. There is never enough storage and you can use these to hang bags, hats, sunglasses etc.

They aren't as strong but the DIYMAG Magnetic Hooks 20 pack that was front page a week or two ago are even cheaper now at $5.69. I was impressed by these magnets and am thinking of getting another 20.

These are like $3 on other 4-letter retailer that starts with a 'T' and ends with 'u', and has an annoying app. Exact same thing but without prime shipping.

FYI. The type of steel you attach these hooks make a difference. The better the steel the better they hold. I have a pole building with the normal sheet steel. And these hooks don't have near as much holding strength. Also I have a steel shipping container that has a primer paint inside of the box. This too doesn't hold as well as heavier bare steel either. Obviously it depends on what you're looking to hold on these hooks.

Would these be adequate to hang a punching bag to a metal roof (underneath a patio deck). If not I have no idea how to hang this bag

I advise you not to do this. Magnetic hooks are fine for small daily necessities, but I don't think it is likely to withstand such a strong force.

Why avoid saying Temu? I've never shopped there.

I just went there and searched for 150 pound magnetic hooks and say $3, but it wasn't for 6pcs. Select the 6pcs option and it's more expensive than Amazon.

^^This - I found out the hard way with a 500lb fishing magnet.. barely enough pull to open my fridge door (after testing elsewhere to make sure it was safe) and then about lost a finger next to a cast iron pan. Not literally, but the substrate/material makes an enormous difference. The size of the object matters too - smaller ferrous materials can get saturated, but a bare iron wall (that I assume is the max rated case) is night and day difference

All I'm saying, is go in with the right expectations and try a small pack first if you're curious. 150lb might be too strong for most use cases - I've found hanging a 25-30lb hook on wire rack in garage hold large hammers and hand tools quite well. Some of the smaller, steel tools are already tough to pull away
