2025 was downgraded with slower Dimensity 6300 while 2024 has Dimensity 7020 about 13% performance lose in CPU in single and multi core geekbench 6

It is 60 days from activation. Once you get the phone activate it and after that send text to 611611 asking "unlock" it should come back with date. Did iphone 13 in Nov last year.

I don't think there's a schedule. The G Power has been on offer since Nov. '24. Probably depends on new models and their release dates. Before the A16, the A15 was available. Plus iPhone models. I haven't been following ST that long, frankly.

"only" two devices at $0 cost (+ the service, I know)?

The deal at total wireless(also a TracFone subsidiary like straight talk) is still active. G Power, Stylus, or Edge 2024 free with 55/month plan, ID verification and port in number. Note you don't actually have to port the number, just activate a new number when you get the phone.

For those who went through the process of purchasing and then getting the phone auto-unlocked, did you select autopay when placing your order to get the $50 price? And if so, are there any challenges with turning autopay off after activation before the 30-day renewal?

Thanks, but total wireless has been out of stock for the Stylus '24 for couple months(you need to click the phone to see "notify me").
