I love this item, especially since I can take it out of the slow cooker and place the pan in the oven for cheesy toppings that need to be melted and browned. Can saute in the pan before adding additional ingredients to slow cook. I use it for just about anything that does not require being portable since the lid does not lock down. I have a separate locking crockpot for those occasions.

Forgive my ignorance , 18 functions 1 is a slow cooker is that the same as a crock pot? I've never had a crock pot I recently had some friends mention how convenient it is and was thinking of getting one. This looks like a great deal on one if so.

Crock pot and slow cooker are the same thing. It's great for braising beef and pork. Set it and forget recipes like pot roast, carnitas, barbacoa, etc.

Ty for clarifying. Unfortunately I checked on the App Store pickup about 10 stores and none near me showed this 40$ or 38$ price. If I could find it for 40$ I would be buying it
