This was just 599 at Best Buy, so I'd say not a great deal.

Best Buy had a small glitch where they sold the phone with no strings attached for $599, but I wouldn't call that a real sale because it was pulled within minutes.

Target ran a clearance on the Pixel 8 @ 400 and a clearance on the Pixel 8a @ 300. They'll probably run a clearance on the 9 Pro XL closer to or shortly after the Pixel 10 launch cheaper than $750.

The Pro models this year are smaller than last year. That's why they made an XL. I still have the broken top panel I took out of my pixel 7 when fixing it, and the P9XL really isn't that much bigger than my standard 7. I'm usually all for smaller phones, but after trying the P9XL in a Verizon store, I really liked it. P7 would fall sideways in my jeans pocket, but the P9XL stays upright without being visible out the top.

got this for $80 out the door after an iphone 12 trade in at bestbuy with an activation on verizon that I immediately canceled with a $0 bill. Love it at that price, I use it as an around the house backup phone... with no case! feels so fancy lol.

However, I'd agree with the earlier poster, 256GB will be my new minimum going forward, 128GB is not enough. wish i would have paid the extra $55 to move to 256 gb. i'll look to trade it in for a 256GB model down the road when the pixel 10 or 11 comes out.
