Found the workaround after much research though so if you find a deal... go for it: 1) make an extra PSN account on your playstation with an EU address (make one up, just make sure its in the region the game came from... EU or otherwise) 2)install the DLC content while logged in on this account... main game content doesn't matter 3) ensure local console content sharing is enabled in the PS settings (mine was on by default).

Boom! it should show up for your main account and be playable. I had the EU issue with the yuffie DLC for the first game but right now i'm playing it fine.

Seems like I'm in the minority, but I actually really liked most of the mini games. I would legit play a standalone version of Queen's Blood.

Amazing game. Especially for old farts like me that played the original PS1 version all night until the morning sun.

The card game is second to none and probably the best part of the game. It needs its own mobile version asap.

One of the best 100hrs ever spent. Dont listen to negative comment about the game. Same people also had negative things to say about elder ring, god of war, wulkong etc. Theres no game that will sastified everyone.

I finished it in ps5 now playing on pc. Better experience since ps5 (non pro) 60fps mode is blurry af

Thanks, I ended up resolving this a week ago. The challenge was finding a European country to sign up with that had English as an option but did not then force me to do some stupid identity verification follow-up that would have required scanning a Photo ID. UK / Ireland / Australia all had that shit. Sweden ended up being the sweet spot.

So now I have my PS5 upgraded Elden Ring. I do still have a problem if I ever want to purchase the DLC, I think, because it seems I've got to buy it in the local currency, and PSN Gift cards are also region locked, so I can't buy a $40 PSN gift card from the US and have it apply towards the Swedish PSN account.

I'm not sure what happens if I try to buy Shadow of the Eldtree on my US account, though. Will it see the Sweden account's PS5 purchase and let me tie it to that?
