When I placed the order, Amazon added a $19 and change "courtesy discount" to this price!

Out of curiosity, would this work at killing crabgrass? Or just preventative?

Can I just dump this to my house perimeter, I removed the mulch and all those bushes around the house and I want to make the grass go up to the house with some flowers planted.
WIll this get rid of the crabgrass and other small flowering weeds?

How do you intend to get grass there? Seed won't work with this.

It prevents crabgrass from coming up. Does not kill existing crabgrass.

If you lay this down, it will prevent the crabgrass from coming up along with newly planted grass seed. So I would not use this for your purpose.

Ugh, this is a good price. I already have my Weed and Feed plus Crab Grass preventer ready to go down Saturday (I think I'm too late already). I'll get this and save it for fall.

Regarding application timing, have Forsythias bloomed yet? If they have not or are still in bloom you are good!

I guess back to picking up crabgrass manually but I'm worried they can spread if I miss any.

We put the seed down last fall in all areas including yard overseeing, yard bald spots are looking better but it didn't germinate much in border around house, I think I need to seed more, I even thought about just buying sod and laying it.. Probably 4' by 100'.

They are starting to and more importantly I think the grass has started to grow and I'm seeing Chickweed already.

No. It does not kill Crab grass. It might be too late to apply this product this season.

My backyard is already full of crab grass. I am in northern CA. Applying this now of no use

Just do the sod. You won't have the protection on that new sod, but this can work on the rest of the yard. Proper mowing and weed treatment will have the whole place looking better soon enough.
