When I first read this it sounded like you were having shovel fights and just breaking all of your opponents' weak wooden shovels with your all-metal battle shovel.
That said I'm a large male, and it's a little heavy for my wife. You'd probably want a wood or fiberglass handle if you're shoveling for hours and moving a lot of stuff as this bad boy could get fatigueing
Went with HD for the free 1-day shipping at same price [homedepot.com].
To sweeten, can do the $5 coupon for email/text signup or CB.
Alternatively, buy 3x Menards shovels [menards.com], make yard art out of heads after handles break (windmill, waterwheel, etc.).
A steal even at the regular price.
Love this shovel for tough dirt. The weight allows you to dig deep and can be used to pry (within reason) without breaking. Welds seem well done.
If you are moving loose material, better to use a wood handle shovel. All metal is definitely heavier.
