Amateur tip: after using for a free trial pay a $1.01 on cable bill. (Spectrum/ Time Warner requires $1 min.). If I end up under $1 I buy a couple bananas at grocery and use some coins to get exact total. At my store cards like these started declining rather than auto draining if over the balance. -A scam to keep your money IMO

Not true. I get $1.00 off per gallon every month at shell using 1000 fuel points.

At Kroger Family of Stores Fuel Centers you can redeem up to 1,000 Fuel Points for $1 off per gallon. Fuel Points are redeemable in 100 point increments, up to 35 gallons of unleaded, mid-grade, premium, diesel or E85. Not all stations may have all grades, credit and debit card fraud prevention policies or regional regulations may limit transaction at the dispenser. At participating Shell locations, you can redeem 100 Fuel points for 10¢ off per gallon.
