I have used them for a year. They are comfortable and good. Light weight too. But they have always been around this price. So not slick price wise. I got this price like two years back
Don't buy Asics with fabric/woven tops. I wore quarter size holes at the toe box in 3 weeks. So cheaply made. Got some Adidas on here while back for like $23 which are much better with a rubber/leatherette whatever top which will hold up for the life of the shoe.
I routinely wear out the tread before the fabric top wears out (jogging/"slogging" and general use). When I signed up for OneASICS, got a 5% off first purchase that stacked with the TENOFF coupon and covered sales tax. My shipping was free ($10 off) with the OneASICS as well.

It's appears free shipping is only for orders $50 or more and I am ordering kids shoes which is less than $50. Finally, I can rest in peace

ugh... i had the darn same thing... but not in 3 weeks.. about 10 months... (walking)...
maybe you're using yours for jogging...
nevertheless... imho 9-10 months is way short. it was a the gel quantum 1 year before they presently named it 'utility'.
i have few leather asics and rightfully.... they last as long as leather should.
incidentally i also have a nike urban walking sneaker w/ full volume air... darn thing popped in about 9 months while the top, a thick canvas or so... is mint.
