Great deal! I have this exact model and It's powerful. It's a bit on the heavy side at the battery compartment and I've had for more than 3yrs with no issues. I bought because I was able to use all my old ryobi/craftsman attachments. Battery and tool still going strong.

This is a pretty good deal for the battery alone.

Is it better or worse with the bigger guard? I get that it protects you more from clipping hitting you back but do you lose visibility?

Pretty good deal, considering the batteries alone cost about this much on sale and tend to sell out...Thanks!

I use multiple green works products (mower, pressure washer, blower and trimmer). They work well but if you ever need to contact support if you have a problem or question, forget about it. I tried multiple times and gave up. Unfortunately I am tied to their system but won't recommend this company.

Good to hear. I have the 24v model and it is absolute trash. I ended up just throwing it out. Sounds like the extra juice makes this one quite a bit better.

All my other 24v greenworks tools work fine. The trimmer...absolute garbage unfortunately.

That part it easy. You just pull string through 2 holes clip both to even length and twist to reel it in
