Got this phone the last time this deal was up. It's a solid mid-range phone.
It works surprisingly well. Photos are quite usable.

Could someone confirm the unlock policy? It states "60 days after activation" but didn't mention if the phone has to be still active on their network or only one month service is ok.
30 days after your 30 day included service period ends the device is eligible for unlock.

Thanks, repped!

I ordered a number for $5, enabled SMS on it, then was able to port it to order this Motorola Edge for free + $55 the plan. Pretty easy!
How did you enable messages? Bought a numberbarn but not sure how to get messages

i have been out of the phone game for a while but this seems pretty tempting as yet another backup/giveaway.

i currently have a n30 and n20 as backups from past metro deals. i dont use them but when i play with them on wifi theyre still nice.

they have the sd 665 cpu, which geekbench 6 909/2109 (single core/multi-core, with imo single being much more important)
google of sd 7s gen 2 says geekbench 6 of 998/2813

so, it's a marginal cpu upgrade over my phones not a big deal. oled is nice too and my n20 is oled, but only 6b ram. the n30 is 8GB/lcd, but it's a nice bright lcd so, more than fine tbh.

i do hate curved edges but eh

Can someone help me.

Bought number from numberbarn. Now feeding the number in TW says a text is sent to that number. How do you get the message? Or how do you port?
Go to your Number, then Messages. If you do not see the Activate SMS button, then you'll have the upgrade to the $2 Park plan to get access to SMS.

I have it on my Amazon card right now. When I bought this same deal in Dec I got $15 back using an offer on my Freedom card. Worth going through a cb site too.

A35 has much longer software support, but cannot be rooted. I prefer design of moto.

I am using OnePlus n10 which I bought 4 years ago, and i am not sure how much faster this CPU is in the real world. I am still thinking whether I should buy this. It's not about money, it's about time to setup the new phone.

Saw many posts said buying #s for $5.
But curious why ppl didn't use Google Voice to port out (and of course SMS verification), only $3.

Any trick here?

Also I'm thinking I could use the same port in # TWO times the same time, because it's not been ported yet while verifying?

And once I do receive the phone and SIM, I have the choice not to port the number (when placing the order), and get a new number instead?
