TW Moto Edge successfully activated with Numberbarn port-in after 3 days.
Calls/texts/data/hotspot/wifi calling work smoothly and the speed exceeds expectations.

But...when I enter the TW number in a "gotoaisle.com" offer, it gives an error message "VOIP numbers are not accepted". Suggestions appreciated for resolving this SNAFU.

Most likely it's because your GV number hasn't been FULLY ported to TW yet. Try calling your Edge phone from another phone. If a message from GV asks for your reason for calling then GV still is has the number. They will release it in about 3 days.
I ported-in a Numberbarn (landline) number not a GV (VOIP) number.

I chose well. It's easy to remember.

You are being told wrong, and Total Wireless is part of the TracFone family.***EDIT - I'll let you know for sure next week, because my day 60 for 2 Edge 2024s is one week from today.
Let us know what happened. I shut off the network for a few days and I wonder if that messed up the 60 days calculation!

Unlikely to affect unlocking. With these temporary phones, I typically play with them for a week or so, make test calls/texts, update software, then put them away until it's time to unlock them. Had no problems getting them unlocked.

I'm currently doing this deal. Used NunberBarn to buy the numbers and setup 2 phones. So far this has been an excellent phone and an excellent deal.

the numberbarn site has a big sign: all numberbarn numbers are considered landline and will take up to 5 days to transferor something similar. I can call out, cant call in. On my 3rd day
are you good now? calling in and calling out?

You don't need to cancel service. With autopay disabled (by default), the charge for the 2nd month won't go through, and they will deactivate the line. You can port the number out before the 30th day. The line will be deactivated after porting out. Log into your TW account to request the port PIN, or text NTP (Network Transfer PIN) to 611611. Text FOUR to 611611 and it should send back the last 4 digits of the account number, which could be the IMEI or the SIM number. Use the full account number and Port PIN to port out.

Thanks! Also turns out GV wants $20 for port-in, so thats a non-starter - NOT SLICK!
Does anyone know of an option to park these numbers until the next deal?

I received the phone today. How do i activate with port in. I do not see any instructions on the website. Which page should I go to to activate the line with port in. or is it just put the sim in phone and do everything on the phone?

Any help is appreciated.

Never mind, figured out. The port in from google voice was within a minute. However, calls are going thru but messages still go to google voice account. Hopefully it will settle in a day.

I've read that you can park your phone number at Numberbarn for $5/month.
