Is that case good? 1/ front protection?2/ easy to hold?3/ not too thick?
1• If you were to lay the phone down on a table, face down, the screen would not touch the table. However, this is only because of the top and bottom of the case. The sides are actually pretty much flush with the screen glass.
2• Yes
3• Yes

When the order is verified (credit payment and ID check passed), you'll see the number listed in your total wireless account. No need to have phone or IMEI in hand. You choose that line number from your account and complete the porting in 5 mts. I have done it for 2 lines and no issues. I have not received my phones yet.
Thanks! I got my order verified yesterday and it was shipped this evening(just had the UPS tracking number but no status yet), however, I couldn't find any number listed in my TW account, I didn't see any "line" listed yet(I poked around within the account pages for 10 minutes but no luck). Can you tell me the exact place to find the number, or where to port in? Thanks again!

You need to wait till phone is actually picked up/shipped by UPS.

When you sign-in, select 'Manage Lines' and it should show in a drop-down and right below is activate option (as long as you have atleast one line listed). Use 'existing line' option (do not choose new number if you have port-in) and then proceed with port in details. That's all it is.

I seem to be in the minority, but here are the steps I took:
1.) Unlocked GV number for $3 2.) Ordered free phone with $55 plan using unlocked GV number for port-in 3.) When phone arrived, activated IMEI on Total website, selecting get a new number instead of importing GV number
I am able to make calls & receive texts with the new number, and my GV account still has the same number, even though I left it unlocked. Is there a reason more people aren't using this method, will this somehow interfere with the phone being unlocked after 60 days? Thanks for any insight & apologies for any ignorance.

PSA: Looks like total wireless changed the policy from 60 days after activation to 60 days of active service. This went in to effect April 1st 2025.

Well, that blows. Activated on 4/1, so I guess I just missed the cutoff. Double the cost kinda kills the deal. Thanks for the heads up though ashindeed, repped. I would have let my plan lapse after 30 days.

Thanks for providing the details. I still couldn't see any line listed in the drop-down(in Manage Lines), I believe it's because it hasn't really shipped yet, even it's marked "shipped", I will take another look later today.

Repped!

Why not import the GV number? I consider it a risk to unlock the phone eventually, since the promotion requires port-in. I could be wrong though.

This is absolutely terrible? Are they enforcing this right away?
That means that the phones will never be unlocked, unless one goes on $55 plan for 2 months.
Any idea if the plan can be downgraded?

I called in today for a device I purchased in February, yes, at least from the agent I spoke to this morning, they are enforcing it right away.

Can they really impose a new policy retroactively? It seems illegal and wrong. I wonder if I can cancel/return the Edge I will be getting in a day or so? I will try contacting them.
