I figure by reading their Terms and Conditions. Now maybe they will change it, but as is stands now, it's states 60 days after activation it will be unlocked. Let's see as I bought another ST Moto Power
I don't see that. Go to the Straight Talk site and click on the unlocking policy near the bottom. It takes you to the same site with the same policy stating 60 days of paid service

It's still 60 day unlock but now requires 60 days of service. Go to unlock page, shows the Logos for all TF brands & even if another page hasn't been updated with the change I can guarantee that's what they will enforce - especially when people that activated in early Feb aren't getting unlocked & should qualify.
My last ST phone was purchase in Dec. 2024 unlocked and the two Total iphones purchased this year are both unlocked. Time will tell on this new Power.
EDIT: I just checked the iPhone SE3 that was purchased at Total on March 30 unlocked last week.

Just got off chat with ST rep. Here is what he said: (I activated my phone after 4/1)

Thank you for waiting. I have reviewed your account in our system and I apologize for the misinformation. Since your phone is newly activated, it is not eligible for unlocking with only 30 days of active days. New phones that have never been activated require a paid activation and 60 days of paid active service to be eligible.
The information I provided earlier was for accounts or phones that have already been activated. However, since your device is newly activated, you will need to have 60 days of paid active service.

Can the second month be the Bronze plan
Charlie

Definitely.
Any plan will work as long as it covers a total of 60 days.

That's not even 2 weeks ago, how did SE3 unlock?

Ugg, brain fart. Reciept shows Jan 31. That other date is when I entered the account # in a email to myself. Good catch.

Can you explain your math?
55 with %25 cash back per chase card offer up to $15
$20 cash back on activation from certain place
$5 for number barn
$85 second month for both lines, pay on two more chase cards %25 up to $15, so $60 on one and $25 on another
And I just realized that there is a cheaper plan than the one I was on... I thought I was on cheapest. Damn it. Might try to switch and get money back out of principle :-)

What's the "Bronze plan"? I couldn't find it, did you mean the $40 Base 5G Unlimited plan?
I also found the $30 data plan(that is, no phone number), not sure if that will work...
Thanks!

I'm wondering the same thing — my two Edge phones were activated on March 22. Can they still be unlocked with just 30 days of service?

According to the policy they can change it at any time - Verizon couldn't care less about their customers. And if they're not even unlocking phones that were activated under old policy terms it's even worse.

"For all cellphones Activated on the Verizon network on or after November 23, 2021, the cellphone will be remotely unlocked automatically 60 days after paid Activation and 60 days of paid active service."

that reads as anything still locked as of 4/1/25 will require paid Activation and 60 days of paid active service to be remotely unlocked automatically

on 2nd thought, i failed reading comprehension. so don't trust my below kindergarten-level reading ability

A "nice" company would only apply a stricter policy on phones activated after the policy change date. But TW/TF/ST/Verizon are nasty/sneaky bastards. I think they only posted the change today or yesterday, but backdated the policy change date to April 1st.

That's some shady ass shit for them to implement a change today but dating it back to April 1st. I got my first phone before April 1st, so let's see if that unlocks compare to another one I just got a few days ago.
