Does it matter if I port in a different # than the one I put in originally when I made the order?

I don't think it matters. At activation it asks if you want a new number or keep your number (i.e. port in). It didn't prepopulate with the number you submitted for checking.

What's the "Bronze plan"? I couldn't find it, did you mean the $40 Base 5G Unlimited plan?
I also found the $30 data plan(that is, no phone number), not sure if that will work...
Thanks!
Yes $40 base.

If I get those $25 prepaid TW cards to use for the second month, anyone think that would work to total 60 days paid service? I might just give that a shot.

Make sure to select a plan that adds 30 service days.

Even at $110 it's still good deal if you wanted to use it. Kills the margin though, not much in reselling. I was just thinking about getting myself an A35 to play with. Hmm. I should have a ST phone ready for unlock in a week or two, let's see how that goes. The policies should apply forward, they will be flooded with FCC requests otherwise.

It shows this is free now, is it still 60 days active service but free phone and cancel after 60 days?

With the current Administration, the FCC is not going to do a thing to help consumers.

I checked on Target.com and the TW prepaid cards just have a moneytary value to be applied toward your TW account. They're not time plan cards like with TF. I guess someone with a Target Red Card can buy the TW cards at 5% discount, better than nothing.

That sounds a good idea. But if the service(or phone number) changed during the 60-day requirement, even it's within TW, could it impact the unlock? I would guess a risk...

Yeah, you are right, just a prepaid card with value, so there is no difference from we just pay the plan on TW website... unless we can get the card with big discount...

Phone delivered and setup. Used my GV # to get the text about porting over on the TW site and place the order, then used a numberbarn # when activating the sim. Number shows ported from numberbarn, and can call and text on the new phone. Attempted to add a line just to see if I could get a 2nd phone free w/ a discounted monthly of plan $30 like other have stated but can't get past the authentication pop up/sms online. Anyone have any sucess? It just spins and the text never comes through. Also, RCS chats under Messages settings...sim status still shows as "Setting up"

If someone is going to pay for the 2nd month to meet the new unlocking requirement, might as well turn on Autopay to get $5 discount per line. After they charge for the 2nd month, you can turn Autopay off again. I have 4 lines and turning on Autopay reduced the due amount by about $20. Any little bit helps.
P.S. The forum software had some changes recently and looks like it's not auto-resizing the attached images. Sorry about that.

Can you explain how to get the numberbarn# for the port-in?
Can numberbarn be used alone or used with GV#?
Thanks!

You are likely correct with that, I guess that's why they feel empowered to do these changes retroactively. Net Neutrality will go out the window again as well.
