The LG gram 16" laptop features a 16" WQXGA anti-glare IPS touch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio,...................
Edit:
LG website doesn't say it is a touch screen.
16GB of DDR5, Screen size, battery size, processor, all seem on point. Complaints could be the refresh rate of the screen (just hook up to an external monitor), nits, and the smallish size of SSD. But with extras like a backlit keyboard and good amount of ports, it's hard to complain with all that.

Is this really a gaming laptop for this price.
Is this better than 1650i?
Any other better deals for laptops?
Keep in mind I use my laptops excessively. I do not have a desktop computer or tablet and I rarely use my smartphone. I am on it for hours every day and I probably don't take as many precautions as I should. I'm notorious for using it on a bed which I know is bad for the fan. Part of what drew me to the LG Gram was how light it was and the fact that I could easily move it from one room to the next. I also liked the big screen and the larger memory space. The promised battery life is definitely an exaggeration. I believe it was said it had a 14 or 17 hour battery life? Nowhere near that even at the beginning. Realistically I got like 9 hours on it.
Pricewise I paid twice this for mine when I got it. Probably partially for the touchscreen/extra ssd gb which I really personally didn't need but liked to have in case I wanted it. I don't really do anything excessive like gaming on it so I can't tell you how good it is for that. I would like to but I've never felt confident it wouldn't just die. I tried Planet Zoo once and the system was so bogged down I could hardly move my mouse. I do some light image editing and web browsing and again am notorious for keeping tabs open which slows down your memory.
In the market for a new laptop but IDK if I wanna go with this one again. For the price I paid I expected better but then again this is half of what I spent and I'm sure a lot of technology is no longer built to last. But if you're looking for a light computer with a decent amount of memory (which a lot of them don't have and was part of what drew me to LG) that'll maybe get you at least 5 years--then it's a deal.
i never use windows touch screen. i tried to use it for the last 10+ years. I am fine without touch screen.
Ultimately decided against it, as I've tested them a few times in the store and you can literally bend the screen with little force. Because it's all plastic to achieve the weight target (which is impressive), they just seem really fragile.
