My problem with all these kinda insulated bottles is that the inside lid is plastic and when you put hot stuff inside, it makes the water start to taste like the plastic lid. The stainless steel part isn't the problem. It's the heating up of the lid.
I got a larger version of this for about $20 at sams club on clearance. It is very big and heavy holds 101 ounces (bottom of jug says that). About 3/4 gallon size. Has a straw thing too, but I'll never use it. I'll only ever use it for ice/water while working. My rtic took a beating last year rolling around int he truck and fell off a couple of decks.
$20.03, number 984221536 (on receipt). Not a big discount, but normally something like 25, probably will go into clearance section in a week or two at a steeper discount.
