Home Depot and Ace Hardware have it on sale for $89 currently, for anyone trying to avoid Amazon companies.

I really want this but I still can't see 80 dollars of laziness value in it.

Good to know. I couldn't find it on their website at any price.

Same. We live in a woods and the autumn olive are everywhere. But $80 is a lot still for some shears. I'd probably cut my finger off.

I've been putting off buying these for years now. I have a large project coming up to clean up an overgrown property in order to put it on the market and I think these will come in handy instead of breaking out the chainsaw every time.

If you have quite a bit of trimming to do these are worth $80.

Which conspiracy peddler is trying to convince people to avoid Amazon companies? Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I've had mine for a couple years. It's worth every penny. Yearly trimming is now a breeze.

We have 2 of these we bought last year at Home Depot. They've been priceless for 2 seniors in the country.

Buy them! We couldn't believe what they cut! We were clearing 1/2 mile of driveway with mountain spray and small pines and fir on either side that were a fire hazard. Started with long handled pruners and a small chainsaw. Brush and chainsaws are a disaster, always pulling the chain off (not our first rodeo, brush is just a pain). Arms were not going to last with pruners.
Then along came this slick deal last year. Bought them wondering if they were worth it. I spent 3 days running these almost all day, only one battery each day. They are beasts! I even cut some small fir that were about 2 1/2" across, just put some bend pressure on the tree and pow, these cut right through, sometimes requiring one more cut to finish. Mountain spray is very tough to cut with loppers, with these pruners it was a flick of the trigger. Buy them if you have more than a few ornamentals to prune!
The amount of brush we cut with these was mind boggling. It took a full day and 4 people with a full size truck pulled chipper to shred all the brush I cut alone (with 2 people just hauling it away and stacking it), along with the bigger trees my husband cut with a chainsaw (not a lot of them). Did I say I am an over 60 woman? Yes, these made it that easy.
Buy them!
