Great tool. 30 second time out can be short.

The pruner's safety switch is designed to time out after 30 seconds of inactivity. This is not the trigger, it's the simultaneous safety switch that also has to be engaged before the trigger. 30 seconds can be short if you are walking and pruning. Then you need to release everything and re-engage.

This is a great price! Also, one of my favorite tools, I often use it to cut up fallen Palm Tree fronds so they fit into the trash more easily.

I was just able to order one 5 minutes ago after seeing my my email alert. At the final step of payment it said it was checking inventory so hopefully they are sending one over.

I have resisted for a year and finally gave in.

No the built in sensor prevents it from cutting through flesh

I'm sure the loan shark knows how to disable any safety sensor (although I can't find reference to any such thing in the manual). You'll probably find a how-to on the 'dark interwebs'.

Jokes aside, there is not a safety sensor to prevent de-digiting. This is not a sawstop.

I always get kinda nervous when I'm using this cutter. It's great tool but I wouldn't call it slick until it's ~$60 or came with a battery for $100.

I love this tool bought it on a slick deal at this same price very useful. Basically a one handed lopper. I use it on palm trees that are not super tall yet and on bamboo cuts right through both with ease
