The listed original price is too high. That's the price with a battery. Amazon has the same tool without the battery for $96.

Interesting that people are rating this as a luke warm deal. The same deal was posted on June 13 and got +77 likes. That one sold out but Woot! reissued the deal today with a new link, so I posted it here. The same deal also got +34 in May and +32 in April.

FWIW, SD auto-populated the original price and it when I edited it, it doesn't stick. I think the original price was $140, but there are definitely deals around $100 +/- $10 (Acme Tools has it for $89, Ace Hardware has it for $99, Home Depot has it for $109).

This $80 deal at Woot! has generally been the best deal. From my SD searches, I have never seen it offered lower in the three years since it was released. The only deal that I would consider better was in 2023 with a 5Ah battery for $108 from Bomgaars.

Works very well, saves a lot of effort if you have to prune a decent amount. I take it on walks around my ranch to cut invasive vines.

You may need to use a few cuts just like you would manual loppers.

As someone with zero existing dewalt products, somebody in another thread convinced me to buy one of myriad amazon knockoffs. $60 total after coupon, **and it included two 20v batteries with charger**. All the claimed specs are essentially identical. Arrives today , so if the rain holds out, I'll be able to give it a try.
